Field visit to observe medicinal plants in their natural habitat and Guest lecture on “Ayurveda-Centric Identification and Memorization of Medicinal Plants”

The Department of Dravyaguna, Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, organized a field visit to observe medicinal plants in their natural habitat from 7:15 am to 9:45 am, followed by a guest lecture on “Ayurveda-Centric Identification and Memorization of Medicinal Plants” on 3rd February 2026. Dr. Ajayan Sadanandan, Emirates Professor of Dravyaguna and Director, Ayurveda Marma and Medicinal Plant Academy, Thiruvananthapuram, was the resource person for the day. The program provided students with hands-on exposure and conceptual clarity in Ayurvedic methods of plant identification and memorization.
