Prasuti Tantra EvamStriroga is an important branch of Ayurveda deals with delivery of a child (Prasuti Tantra /Obstetrics) and diseases pertaining to female reproductive system (Stri Roga / Gynaecology)

To impart knowledge about women health to the community along with conducting research on the topics pertaining to both classical as well as modern topics.

To introduce the students to innovative teaching and clinical methods in Prasutitantra evam striroga so as to produce experienced doctors in the future.

OBJECTIVES

• To promote Garbhini Paricharya (Antenatal care through Ayurveda) and Suitika Paricharya (Post natal care through Ayurveda) through quality teaching and clinical training.
• Explore Ayurvedic treatment modalities for various Gynaecological disorders
• To validate pharmacological actions of drugs & formulations related to Prasuti Tantra evamStriroga.
• To implement Standard Operative Procedures (SOP) for various therapeutic procedures related to Prasuti Tantra&Striroga, including Yoni Prakshalana, Yoni Pichu, Yoni dhupana, Uttarabasti etc
