Congratulations to Ms. Jameela Hafifa Hameed

Ms. Jameela Hafifa Hameed, 3rd Professional BAMS student, won Second Prize in the Paper Presentation Competition held on 12 December 2025 at Mangala Auditorium. Her paper titled “Evaluation of Antifungal Activity of Aragvadhadi Lepa against Candida Species – An in vitro Study” was presented at the National Conference on Plant Taxonomy and Pharmacognosy – Relevance to Mankind, jointly organized by Mangalore University (Microbiology Programme, Dept. of Biosciences) and Alva’s Traditional Medicine Archive & Research Centre on 12–13 December 2025. The work was guided by Dr. Asha Maradka, Professor, Department of Dravyaguna, Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital. Notably, the study was undertaken as a CCRAS-SPARK student project, highlighting meaningful undergraduate research and academic excellence.
