The Department of Dravyaguna organized a guest lecture to mark World Environment Day and Vanamahotsava 2025, focusing on the theme “Ending Global Plastic Pollution.” Dr. Maheshwari Kumari Singh, Deputy Environmental Officer, KSPCB, Mangalore, delivered an impactful talk on the urgency of tackling plastic pollution and adopting sustainable practices. The program included prize distribution for the Earth Day model-making competition, plantation drives, and the distribution of medicinal plants and vegetable seeds to promote eco-friendly living.
