World Earth Day 2024

The Department of Dravyaguna, in collaboration with the NSS unit of YAMCH, organized World Earth Day 2024 under the theme "Planet vs Plastics." The event commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Rukma, followed by a compelling Presidential address delivered by Dr. Gururaja H, Dean of YAMCH. Expressing his concern, Dr. Gururaja H emphasized the importance of environmental responsibility, urging students to eschew paper cups in favor of bringing their own mugs for coffee or tea. Additionally, he implored students to refrain from littering in public spaces. Following the formal proceedings, students of 2nd Professional BAMS enthusiastically joined forces with the Dravyaguna department and NSS unit to undertake the commendable task of removing plastic from the vicinity of the AYUSH campus.
